Untitled (Bird on the Shoulder)

Story behind the piece

Black silhouette on flat red, rings opening out behind the head, a bird sitting on one shoulder.

Almost nothing in the figure is drawn. It sits there as a black shape and the white scribble over the arms and back does the rest. Four rings open out behind the head through a spray of white and orange flecks. The bird is tiny next to all of that, and easy to miss.

Each original is signed on the reverse and shipped with a certificate of authenticity, a handwritten note from the artist, and careful studio packaging.
