Untitled (Red Lenses)

Story behind the piece

A woman laughing with her head tipped back, in a red visor and a patterned headwrap.

Face and hair are graphite the whole way through. Colour only goes on three things: the visor, the wrap and the striped top. The laugh is open wide enough to show the full top row of teeth, which is hard to draw without it turning into a grimace.

Each original is signed on the reverse and shipped with a certificate of authenticity, a handwritten note from the artist, and careful studio packaging.
