Untitled (Halo and Rose)

Story behind the piece

A kneeling figure with a rose held up to its face, under a halo that is coming undone.

At the top of the frame the halo is a clean ring. By the time it gets down to the head it has unwound into the same loose yellow line that makes the shoulders, so there is no point where you can say one ends and the other starts. The figure is violet on violet. You mostly read it where the yellow crosses over. The rose is the only thing with a proper edge.

Each original is signed on the reverse and shipped with a certificate of authenticity, a handwritten note from the artist, and careful studio packaging.
