Untitled (Portrait of an Elder)

Story behind the piece

An elder in an armchair, tan jacket over a purple stole, against flat cobalt.

He is turned three quarters on, one hand resting along the arm of the chair. The work goes into the face, the patterned tie and the ribbed weave of the jacket, then stops. Behind him the cobalt is left completely flat.

Each original is signed on the reverse and shipped with a certificate of authenticity, a handwritten note from the artist, and careful studio packaging.
